The Storming OnesS
If you chose the Fool
card, you are beginning on a path that is taking you into a new
phase of your development. You are embarking on a personal
journey or vision quest, and you are fresh faced and hopeful, but
you do not yet realize the difficulties ahead. These are
problems that need to be solved on your journey, they are the
experiences on this path that will help you learn and gain the
wisdom that this path has for you.
You must make a choice and you must
have a developed philosophy or belief system to guide your life
path.

If you got the Fool, you are warned to be
cautious of the impetuosity of others. There may be someone
who is not mature and who may be bounding into your life with no
discernment. This is a caution against the impetuosity,
present or future, of others. It is a caution to review any
plans or projects you have very carefully. At its most
positive, this card is a spiritual card meaning the "sacred
fool", or someone who challenges us to look at what the
Native American's refer to as Hoyoka, meaning your life is turned
upside down to show you it was upside down when you thought it was
right side up. This refers to a materialistic fixation at the
expense of the spiritual. In material matters, this refers to
eccentricity that is folly. This can be a card of
immaturity, or it can be a card of spiritual transcendence.
In the "Legend: The Arthurian
Tarot", this card is based on the legend of the knight
Percivale, who came to Camelot to be a knight and looks longingly
at the kingdom from afar, not realizing all the trials he will
endure to reach his goal to be a knight of King Arthur's Court.
